Our mission at FireRescue1 is to provide firefighters with the information and resources they need to better protect their communities and come home safe.

HELPING DEPARTMENTS BETTER TRAIN AND EQUIP THEIR FIREFIGHTERS

In response to requests from firefighters and chiefs from around the country, we’ve expanded our mission to address the urgent need for departments to train better and access more funding with FireRescue1 Academy and FireGrantsHelp.

FireRescue1 Academy helps departments more efficiently and cost effectively deliver training that helps them better protect their communities and reduce liability. It offers more than 350 courses that cover a wide range of topics including 160 hours of fire-based EMS courses accredited by CAPCE to meet National Registry recertification requirements. Built specifically for firefighters, the platform allows departments to deliver, track and assign policies and training both online and in person and is used iby nearly 750 departments of all sizes, including Detroit Fire Department, Akron Fire Department, Charlotte County Fire & EMS, and Maryland Fire Rescue Institute. During the past five years, the program has provided more than 50,000 municipal departments with access to grant assistance and support and has secured more than $150 million in grant awards to departments. GIVING BACK TO THE FIRE SERVICE COMMUNITY

Giving back is important to us and FireRescue1 contributes to a number of fire service charities. In particular, we’re a strong supporter of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, contributing more than $100,000 to date to recognize the service and sacrifice of those who have fallen in the line of duty.
